This EPC project in South Iraq as seen BBS deliver over 200,000cbm of cargo. This includes multiple breakbulk vessel charters, 100s of out of gauge flat racks and standard containers + airfreight. A large proportion of the cargo is heavy lift and out of gauge. The photos featured showcase the movement of a few 34-meter-long units, weighing over 170mt each.
Night moves and police escorts were required for the out of gauge cargo and the main highway in the UAE (Sheik Zayed Road) had to be closed for a barricade to be removed in the middle of the night to ensure the 34 meter long units could cross the road to the port.
